How to list your first item

Sign up for free at Qloxet.com. You only need an email address to get started. One account works for both renting and listing.

From your dashboard, click the "New Listing" button or go to Dashboard → My Listings → New Listing. Choose a category that best describes your asset.

Your title should include the brand, model, and key feature (e.g., "Sony A7IV Camera with 24-70mm Lens"). The description should cover what's included, the condition, and any rules (e.g., "No outdoor use without protective case").

Upload a short YouTube video showing your asset in action — unboxing, features, how it works. Paste the YouTube URL into the video field in the Details step. Videos significantly increase conversion.

Add at least 3 photos. Include: front, back, sides, any accessories included, and any existing wear/damage. Take photos in good natural light. The first photo becomes your cover image.

Set a daily rate (and optionally hourly, weekly). Add a security deposit amount — this is held in escrow and returned after the rental if there's no damage. Set a replacement value so insurance can be calculated.

Choose your city and neighbourhood. You can enable pickup (renters collect from you), delivery (you or a courier delivers to the renter), or both. Set a delivery fee and radius if you offer delivery.

Review all your details on the summary page, then click "Publish". Your listing enters a brief review queue (usually under 1 hour) before going live. You'll get a notification when it's approved.
