1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Qloxet uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) to run the platform, remember your preferences, and understand how the platform is used.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
Required for core functions: signing in, keeping your session active, protecting against cross-site request forgery, and remembering items in your cart. These cannot be disabled without breaking basic functionality.
Functional
Remember your theme (light or dark mode), preferred location, language, and other display preferences.
Analytics
Help us understand aggregated, anonymised usage patterns, such as which pages are visited most, so we can improve the platform. This data is not used to identify you personally.
Performance
Our service worker caches static assets and pages so the app loads quickly and can work with an intermittent connection.
3. Third-party cookies
Some pages load third-party services that may set their own cookies, including our payment gateways (for secure checkout) and mapping provider (for location and delivery features). These providers' use of cookies is governed by their own privacy policies.
4. Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings menu. You can also use your browser's private or incognito mode to limit cookies for a session. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or completing a checkout.
5. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no industry-standard way to respond to this signal, so Qloxet does not change its data collection in response to it at this time.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our use of cookies changes. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email before they take effect.
