Setting up your account

Add a real profile photo, your full name, and a short bio. Listings and bookings from complete profiles get more responses, since owners and renters both check this before agreeing to a booking.

Email verification happens automatically when you sign up. Phone verification is reviewed by our team: submit your number under Verification in your dashboard and we'll confirm it, no waiting on an SMS code that might not arrive.

Uploading a government ID unlocks the Identity trust tier, which raises the limits on what you can list or rent and shows a verified badge on your public profile. See "Identity verification" below for details.

Enable push notifications so you don't miss booking requests, messages, or payment confirmations. You can fine-tune which events notify you from Notifications in your dashboard.

Your Qloxet account can rent, lend, buy, and sell at the same time. There's no separate "owner" or "renter" signup, so you can list your first item and rent someone else's from the same dashboard.
