Keep everything in the app
Payment, messaging, and booking confirmation should all happen inside Qloxet. That is what gives you escrow protection and dispute support.
Check verification and reviews
Prefer owners with a verified badge and a track record of reviews. A new account with no history isn't necessarily untrustworthy, but it's worth extra caution.
Meet in safe, public locations
For handover, choose a well-lit, public location if you're unfamiliar with the other party, especially for high-value items.
Never pay outside the platform
Any request to pay by bank transfer directly, outside the app, is a red flag. It removes escrow protection entirely and Qloxet cannot help resolve a dispute over an off-platform payment.
Trust your instincts
If something feels off about a listing, a message, or a meetup arrangement, cancel and report it. It's always better to walk away than to proceed uneasily.
